The casting for the telenovela began November 17, 2015 at forums Televisa San Ángel.[5] On November 26, 2015, Renata Notni was confirmed for one of the lead youth roles in the telenovela.[6][7] On Thursday, December 3, Daniel Bisogno confirmed via the "Ventaneando" program, which Betty Monroe would be the protagonist of melodrama, and in which Cristian de la Fuente, would be the male protagonist of the story.
